Why we roast lighter than most Swedish roasters

Sweden has a long tradition of light roasts — the Nordic style — and we are proud to be part of it. A lighter roast keeps more of what the farmer worked for: fruit, flowers and sweetness.

It is not about being trendy

Roasting darker burns away the differences between origins. A coffee from Huila and a coffee from Sidamo start to taste the same. We would rather you taste where it came from.

But it is not for everyone

That is why our Nordhamn Espresso is darker. Good coffee is the coffee you enjoy drinking.
